More Than Advocacy: Love in Action

Some days, this work feels heavier than words can hold. Behind every email, every phone call, every letter we send—there is a human life. A mother waiting. A sister praying. A family holding on to hope while navigating a system that too often feels cold, slow, and unresponsive. I started this journey because of my brother. Because I watched someone I love do everything “right” and still be left unheard. And what I’ve come to realize is—his story is not unique. There are so many families out here carrying the same fear, the same frustration, the same fight. But there is also something powerful happening. We are finding each other. We are speaking louder. We are refusing to accept silence as an answer. This is more than advocacy. This is love in action. This is resilience. This is a refusal to let the people we love be forgotten. To everyone who has supported, shared, reached out, or simply taken the time to listen—thank you. You are part of this movement whether you realize it or not. And to the families still fighting behind the scenes: I see you. I stand with you. We are not done.
